In my book, SHINE: A Powerful Plan For Becoming A Star In Anything You Do, I revealed the four essential and obtainable elements necessary for personal fulfillment and Stardom, but I have learned in my life that it is easier for people to learn how to do something than it is for them to do it. Project Rise & Shine™ is designed to spank your mind, help formulate your quest, support you 24-7, and make your new life fun, rewarding, and enduring.
I also have learned that you can't do it alone. We will guide you. Good Luck Club™ members will support you. And we also believe God is the captain of your team of supporters. Poet, Mary Stevenson, in Footprints in the Sand wrote that a despairing man questioned "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you most, you would leave me." The Lord replied, "I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, they were not your footprints they were mine, it was then that I carried you."
Learn to identify, love, and respect what is unique about you. Start by asking five of your closest family members and friends what they think you have a natural gift for and what is unique and special about you. Enter their observations in the Good Luck Club™ "Talent - Discern" section of your Start Your Road To Stardom workbook. This exercise will commence your new birth. A Star will be born - You!
And speaking of Stars being born, my wife Kelly and I had a little baby boy January 6 at 2:38pm. Taylor now has a little brother. His name is Trevor Lorenzo Thompson. He weighed in at 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches long. Even though babies are weighed in ounces and measured in inches, they are the biggest things in your life. When Trevor cried his first breath in the delivery room, Kelly, referring to my book where I mention "the 150 things I have done in my life," looked over at me with tears in her eyes and said, "Congratulations, you've now done 151 things!" Wow.
Even though as a new parent I'm a bit sleep deprived at the moment, I'm very excited about your future and look forward to our new journey together.
